Multiple Nods for Kenya as One of the Best Destinations for 2016:
Author: Imelda Ndomo
Date: 12 Jan 16

Through the efforts of both the industry and government, a lot of positive publicity on the destination has been generated in recent months.

Key areas where industry interventions have borne fruit include engagement with representatives of our key source markets resulting in the review & lifting of negative travel advisories that affected parts of the country particularly the Coast, which has since remarkably improved; engagement with government which has resulted in tourism being duly recognized with a standalone ministry and the incentives recently announced by the new tourism CS Najib Balala, among others.
