THE AFRICAN FUND FOR ENDANGERED WILDLIFE (AFEW) KENYA 40TH ANNIVERSARY.
The African Fund for Endangered Wildlife Kenya (AFEW) celebrated its 40th anniversary on April 28, 2023, with Ms. Susan Ongalo, CEO of the Kenya Tourism Federation (KTF), in attendance.
AFEW was established in 1979 as a nonprofit organization. AFEW was established to safeguard critically endangered animal species and maintain the ecosystem.
The ceremonial launch of the newly renovated Giraffe Center coincided with the 40th anniversary of the Giraffe Center, the flagship project of AFEW Kenya.
The event was graced by the cabinet secretary of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage Hon. Peninah Malonza.
